The Council Hall on College Green is the administrative centre and houses the Council Chamber. It has a large green outside and this has beena meeting point over the years for major celebrations or a focal point for specific events in the life of Bristol Ati Apartheid.
An AGM was held here in February 1989.
The green was where members and supporters met to mark the funeral of Chris Hani 19 April 1993, the release of Nelson Mandela in 1992, the first democratic elections in South Africa in 1994, for instance, as ell as mark the death of Nelson Mandela in 2013
