Aerial shot showing the Greenbank neighbourhood c. 1930. At the bottom left, you can see the Packer's Chocolate Factory which is now being demolished. In the top right corner, a small part of the old Workhouse in Eastville, which was demolished in 1972, is visible. Next to St Anne's Church, two tennis courts can still be found. Just to the left of the church, you can see the old Greenbank Infants School, which has now been replaced by modern flats. The westernmost part of Greenbank Cemetery looks very different than today, as it is full of newer graves with bright grave stones. Moreover, it is striking to see only a few cars here and there - no comparison to the streets today. Source: Bristol Record Office, PixBox/Avu/86.
